Do you ever struggle with unwanted and intrusive negative thoughts? Do you sometimes find yourself engaged in small ‘rituals’ whereby you check your car door is definitely locked again and again and again?
Are you tired of this cycle of endless checking and obsessive behaviour? Are you looking for help to break away from it and so embrace a positive way of managing your life? If the answer is “yes”, you may find Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help to ease your mind away from thinking endless negative thoughts that can lead to, in extreme cases, you struggling to leave your own home. We often see people who come to seek help with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. As our daily lives are increasingly stressful in the modern world so, sometimes, our brains struggle to adapt to the challenges we face. As such, it tries to protect us by re-checking things again and again, or introducing obsessive thinking into our lives. Negative thoughts then end up in something we term as a ‘stress bucket’ and people may find themselves re-checking things as part of an unwanted habit. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy aims to empty the stress bucket so allowing the client to have a more relaxed and confident outlook to their life which, in turn, helps them to stop worrying and focus on the positive aspects of life as a whole. At CFH, we offers a free initial consultation to explain how the brain works and how Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can be beneficial for the client. We also provide a free relaxation CD at the initial consultation. Each session is designed to focus the mind into a mode of positive thinking prior to entering the trance state, which is designed to be relaxing and soothing for the individual. The number of sessions used by people who have obsessive feelings can vary and, obviously, as with any medical issue, it is important to remember that your GP is also there to help. Maral Kojayan was awarded the Hypnotherapy Practitioner’s Diploma (HPD) following extensive training as part of the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training course. She is a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH), which ensures its members adhere to a strong ethical code and engage in regular supervision sessions. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can also be used to help improve sleep, aid in weight management, reduce phobias and fears and help people to stop smoking.

"Being able to have sessions with Maral via Skype was really wonderful. It meant that travelling to a specific location was never an issue and I could feel comfortable where I was in my own home - essential for the therapy. Each week Maral would review the science and sensations behind the work and this really helped me to understand it more. She was always very generous with her time and left me with tools to help myself calm down in any anxious moments between sessions. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending her to others." see more on www.clarityflowhypnotherapy.com Clarity Flow Hypnotherapy - latest video - What is Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapy26/10/2016 Comment of the day:

see more on www.clarityflowhypnotherapy.com This year’s air tragedies in the Ukraine and Africa, and the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 can bring out some people’s worst fears.
The fear of flying is a very common phobia and it can be reassuring to remember that, despite recent events, statistically speaking, it is still considered to be the safest form of travel. Government figures show far fewer deaths or serious injuries being linked to air travel than motorcycling, cycling, or driving. Statistics from the Department of Transport state that there is a far greater chance of being killed by simply crossing the road than being a passenger on a plane.[i] It is estimated that around 10 million people in the UK have a phobia[ii] and a common one is flying – with some people avoiding plane travel altogether, so missing out on holidays abroad, reunions, and even work opportunities. Hypnotherapy practitioner Maral Kojayan MA, HPD, says, “As therapists, we see a substantial number of people who are afraid of getting onto a plane. But after three sessions with us, we find that the majority feel safe and secure when flying – with many actually enjoying the whole experience.” Ms Kojayan uses simple and effective techniques, which includes hypnosis, to help a person overcome a phobia. Hypnosis is simply the use of a trance state, which is a completely natural feeling and something that we all experience regularly on a day-to-day basis. “Using hypnotherapy to overcome a phobia is a straightforward procedure because we effectively work with the client to help them remove the fears from their minds so that we can then help them to find reassurance in themselves. “In terms of flying, this generally means they can feel calm, confident, and relaxed on future flights. More than 72 million people passed through Heathrow airport last year with 35 million going through Gatwick.[iii] The methods used are Solution Focused, “very effective in helping people in achieving their goals of going abroad without worrying about the flight out or, indeed, the flight back.” Ms Kojayan works in the context of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, which helps people in a range of areas from overcoming phobias through to improving sleep patterns, reducing anger, assisting with weight management, easing general anxiety and stopping smoking. "My none existent sleeping pattern has become more consistent..." from: "My hypnotherapy sessions have helped me a great deal. I found that hypnotherapy has educated my brain to think positively and how to deal with any negative thoughts that I may have stored in the brain. My none existent sleeping pattern has become increasingly more consistent especially with the help of the CD Maral gave me. I play the CD each night which helps me to relax both mentally and physically and this definitely helps me sleep. I have also managed to conquer one of my major phobias of using lifts, which is a great achievement for me and my phobia of being alone in my flat. Maral has been a great teacher, very professional. I have learnt a lot from her on how to deal with my negative thoughts and emotions. Thank you Maral." see others on www.clarityflowhypnotherapy.com |
